Southern Tip of Africa to Swellendam

Today we left Hermanus and drove to the most southerly point in Africa at L’Agulhas, where the Atlantic joins the Indian Ocean. On our way we spotted Ostriches and Springbok as we left the DeHoot National Park. It was lovely to see the mountains in the distance as we approached Swellendam. Our overnight stop was at Rothman Manor which was a pretty grand affair in the Dutch style. We had a room upgrade to a very spacious suite near the pool. Anne had a swim before we went out to dinner at an Italian restaurant nearby- La Sosta. Delicious food this evening.Læs mere
