Day 8 - Estella to Sansol

A big 29km walk today!! 😱... The muscles were locking up by the time I arrived at Sansol! 😅

I had a great night sleep in Estella with the calming sound of the river literally next to the room! I started walking this morning at 7am as I knew it was going to be a long day in the sun!

First port of call was the famous wine fountain in Ayegui, near Estella... I poured myself a lil petrol for a good morning kick start, and it seemed to get me going!

Most of today's walk was amongst wheat fields & vineyards with little to no cover... but still oh so beautiful! The skies are the bluest blue making for very pleasant walking conditions! What I really noticed today was the butterflies... they just dance around your face the whole time...it's so pretty! 🦋💙

The accommodation tonight - Palacio de Sansol - is the cutest place with exposed timber beams and stone ... and the tiniest little windows 🪟❤️Läs mer
