Day 10 - Logrono to Navarette

A short walk today as it was either 15km to Navarette or 30km to Najera.... body said Navarette!!

As I was walking out of the big city of Logrono, the locals were so kind and kept pointing us in the right direction whilst yelling, 'Buen Camino!' - so friendly! We also stopped at a fruit n veg grocer and picked up some apples & bananas and then a patisserie to grab a pistachio croissant too! 😋

The walk out of the city was actually really lovely and went for around 10kms! We passed ducks, birds, fishermen, carps, school kids on excursion, tractors, and even cute puppies!!

Booking twin rooms 1 or 2 days ahead has actually been a bonus as we've secured private rooms and generally private bathrooms and been able to split the cost.. a luxury that would get quite expensive on your own!

Tonight, we landed at a pearler called 'Peregrinando'. It's the most unique, gorgeous artsie B&B for 38€ each! The other bonus is that we get to enjoy a whole half day here because it is such a short walking day!

The restaurants around us are deceiving... one looked a bit seedy, but upon entering, the food looked great with many options to choose from, and the owner was so friendly! So, it pays to stick your head in the door and not judge a book by its cover!En savoir plus
