Off to Venice!

We're flying to Venice through Madrid, leaving from a small (4 gates) airport in Granada. It looks like our flights are on time and we're hoping for a smooth transit to our first stop in Italy! Wish us luck as we go on our first oversees adventure to a non-English speaking European country! Being in tourist zones will certainly make this easy, right?

It was interesting that the airport security didn't bother checking our picture IDs. It made for an easy passthrough but the line wasn't long anyway. I guess we look like a trustworthy family.Read more
