Happenstance!

We were headed back to our hotel after watching the sunset from rooftop Bar Alto and happened to run into two friends, Mike and Cindy, from our foodie tour today. They had gone seeking frito pie for a late night snack. They’d gone to a store in town which had advertised frito pie “As seen on TV” but they were already closed. They were told to go to Del Charro. We joined them for frito pie, margaritas and some wonderful conversation. What a lovely way to end our day.

And coincidentally, a fun fact we learned today on our foodie tour was that Del Charro’s Bar was used in the series Longmire. Phhhhhhh!Leggi altro
