San Diego Zoo

Haven’t been to the San Diego Zoo since a family vacation when I was young. We had a perfect day for our visit. Took advantage of the beautiful weather to hike the two miles there. We had two hours to explore before our two hour golf cart tour with the best tour guide ever, Becca. Got to go behind the scenes with the koalas and got to feed a kookabura named Matilda. Also, go to feed, not so successfully one of the giraffes. Saw a baby hippo that was stinkin’ cute. Also got to see the Galapagos turtles that were there when I first visited as a child. The docent told me that back then, I probably got to ride them. Wish my mom was still around to ask.Leggi altro
