Kennedy Space Center

Even though it was a gray and drizzly day, we enjoyed our trip out to Kennedy Space Center. The first thing we did was to take a bus which drove us out to the launch pad area. We got to see the humongous Vehicle Assembly Building, the crawler transporter which took the shuttles to the launch pad and the launch pads themselves. I was surprised to find out that there were multiple launch pads. One has been leased by Elon Musk and SpaceX.
