Ball and Chain - Little Havana

As we passed by the first time there was a combo playing Latin Jazz. As we entered our tour guide pointed out a gentleman, who upon first glance, you might think worked there. Not so. Ball and Chain has a house band that plays daily fro 11AM-6PM and this gentleman siphons up to dance with all the ladies, tourist included. The band was on break so we proceeded to the back patio and garden area that was designed to be reminiscent of Cuba. Lush greenery, a stage where bands play and dancing occurs. We enjoyed a delicious mojito and found out that, although it is often thought to be a Cuban drink it is not. The truly Cuban drink is a daiquiri. Me thinks the Bacardi distillery may have in some way been responsible. In any event, it was delicious and a perfect cocktail for the hot and humid day.Baca lagi
