Yisell Bakery

Pastries, both savory and sweet, are a huge part of daily Cuban life. We stopped at Yisell Bakery and sampled their pastelito filled with guava paste and cream cheese (or the Cuban equivalent). The pastry itself was flaky and tender and the filling was smooth, light, not too sweet, and incredibly flavorful. Our guide said that Cubans do not feel the need to prepare everything themselves and will pop into a bakery to pick up these pastries for weddings, parties or family gatherings.Baca selengkapnya
