After a quick trip to the Safeway 3 blocks from our apartment, we headed out for our Wilson Nicoll Memorial happy hour. Discounted drinks and bar bites that would bring a tear to a Scot’s eye.

Decided to put our luggage and hoof it over to Cafe 44 for lunch. Not our best move. Arrived with soaked feet from melting snow and sleet, but the view and warm soup made up for it.

The church where Patrick Henry gave his famous “Give me liberty, or give me death” speech. Unfortunately, we arrived too late for the tour. Will do that when we head back to Richmond on Wednesday.
Church Hill North Historic District
