Nazareth

2 fascinating sites in Nazareth.. the Church of St Joseph , like most of the sites her,built on top of layers of older churches,synagogues..there is a cave in the depths below this one where Joseph worked his trade (and no he apparently wasn't a carpenter but a stonemason hardly any trees there thousands of years ago!)..the 2nd is the Basilica of the Annunciation...where the angel announced to Mary she would become the mother of Jesus !!
