The final day

After our early morning visit to Windjana we hit the road. Stopped for lunch and fuel at a roadhouse towards the end of the Gibb, where there was a mutiny... most of us declining to eat wraps. (Perhaps for ever) after having the exact same lunch every day for 9 days!
I ate fatty, fried roadhouse bain-marie food and thought it was gourmet!
Back on the road, pausing for a group photo at the end of the Gibb, then on to see the prison Boab. It was hard to read how people were treated, neck chains, stealing people as forced labour.
Late afternoon we arrived in Broome and were dropped at our hotel.
Sad to say goodbye, but soooo happy to have a very long shower and attempt to scrub my toes clean! Crisp white sheets, power points, privacy.... bliss.
