First stop Gatwick. Next stop Taiwan.

Packed up (with the same number of Kg of gadgets as clothes). But who needs spare pants when you are on holiday 😁. Fingers crossed we have got everything. Security decided to take EVERYTHING out my bag, to check each cable, gadget, battery, etc. 30 mins later all good to go through. Must rationalise the number of gadgets.
Frustratingly, when we got to Gatwick check in, we were not allowed to drop our bags off. Apparently you need to have an outbound journey from Japan to prove you are leaving. The fact that we had internal flights in New Zealand was not good enough. So note to self for next time, book your outward journey in advance. So we had to book a trip out of Japan to South Korea on a boat. At least that was some quick planning for the next leg.
Just landed in Gatwick and have made our way to a fancy lounge for some drinkies. Next stop Taiwan.もっと詳しく
