    Had a slightly later start, as the party around our camper continued until the early hours of the morning. With rain forecast and no clear plan, we drove to Te Mata viewpoint, which gives panoramic views over Hawkes bay. On the way up we stopped at a Honey farm, to top up the breakfast with a few varieties of Honey.
    On to the tourist office to see if they had any art galleries to view. One called crab farm was both a winery and art studio, so we headed for that. Very nice 3 mini wines tasted, a steak sandwich shared, and art gallery visited we headed north towards Taupo and Rotorua. We stopped at campsite on a lake. Gloriously warm, but quite a few insects. Hannah has been on a non stop ichathon with over 40 bites on her legs. So was not keen to stay outside for long.
