CAT BA island back to Hanoi

Morning at the Ecolodge at Cat Ba Island. Didn't want to leave, even saw a litter of 1 day old puppies. Then travelling back to Hanoi .
That evening we went on a street food tour where we joined the local people by pulling up a plastic stool and sampling one of the many street food offerings; the bun cha (barbecued pork with rice noodles and fresh herbs) was particularly delicious. Then rushed back to the railway station to board our overnight train to Dong Hoi, 310mi (500km) south of Hanoi.Read more
