Lots of pearls around Ha Long Bay as there is a 74 acre pearl farm that grows pearls 3 - 5 years before harvesting. Only 30% will have a pearl. Only a few of them be nice and round.

She is 81 and still lives there and allows tours.
旅行者that house is so interesting. What is the story behind why it was built this way?
旅行者From what I could tell is that the lady is the daughter of one of the past presidents. She went to USSR to study architecture. She is from Dalat, came home, and built this house. She continues to add to it. There are rooms for rent. She is 82 and lives in the house. They say she is crazy. They call this the Crazy house because of her and it's style.

Andy went to Saturday church with his grandparents and we ate street food.
旅行者So much good food! I thought of you when ordering octopus. And the bamboo claims were in tamarind sauce. They were good. The spiral clams were in coconut sauce. A couple were in garlic sauce and the big ones were in lemon grass and chilie soup. Very tasty.

Beach then our most expensive dinner. A bargain if in the USA. Next morning we met Vy's dad's two sisters and some cousins. One was a native medicine doctor.
