Lots of pearls around Ha Long Bay as there is a 74 acre pearl farm that grows pearls 3 - 5 years before harvesting. Only 30% will have a pearl. Only a few of them be nice and round.

Dalat Crazy House

She is 81 and still lives there and allows tours.
Travelerthat house is so interesting. What is the story behind why it was built this way?
TravelerFrom what I could tell is that the lady is the daughter of one of the past presidents. She went to USSR to study architecture. She is from Dalat, came home, and built this house. She continues to add to it. There are rooms for rent. She is 82 and lives in the house. They say she is crazy. They call this the Crazy house because of her and it's style.
