Chiang Mai - Day 1

After 17 hours in the air I finally arrived in Thailand at 11 in the morning. I made it to my hostel and discover I happened to be in Chiang Mai for the lantern festival. (Like the one in tangled) Luckily I don’t plan a single thing in advance and decided to extended my stay for an additional night to see more of the festival. I then set off on my agenda for the day. Don’t fall asleep. This basically consisted of me walking the entire city of Chaing Mai and consuming many tai teas and coffees and observing the start of the festival:) I stumbled upon many temples and through various markets!
