Amboseli / Tsavo East National Park

After very good night alarm clock was ringing at 5:45 right on time for sunrise, breakfast with Kilimanjaro views and morning safari 🥰 you can spot most of the animals right after sunrise or before sunset therefore safari vacation is all about waking up early 😂 on the top of the Kilimanjaro we even saw few lights and I just realized that in less then two weeks it can be me 🥹! After tasty breakfast we were ready to go 😎. Taitas was already waiting for us so we just jumped to our jeep and departed to our second game drive in this national park. We saw plenty of animals. Cheetah from very far away, gazelles, zebras, giraffes and elephant family with a little baby. According to our guide maximum 18h old… 😮 after touring the park it was time to depart to the next destination ~ Tsavo East National Park, located about 5 hours drive from Amboseli. About 1,5 hours was even on unpaved dirty road 😯🙈 but government is just building brand new road so it will definitely makes life easier for all the guides, drivers, locals and tourists. Around 13:30 we arrived to our stunning accommodation ~ Voi Safari Lodge. This lodge is build on the hill with incredible view of the valley and waterhole where all the animals are coming for drinks 🥰🥹. Room view and lunch view took our breath away and we were just eating lunch and observing animals -> elephants, zebras and wildebeest. As we arrived so late we had just around 1,5 hours to relax so we jumped to the pool and chilled a bit before departing to our next game drive.

At 4 o’clock Taitas was already waiting for us! We departed on 2 hour long and truly memorable game drive. We stopped the car right next to 4 lions, saw elephants crossing the street right in front of our car and then the highlight ~ leopard passing by our car and chilling and drinking water by nearby lake.
