Saint Isidore

The saint celebrated on May 15th who is the patron of pilgrims, farmers, and harvests is Saint Isidore the Farmer (San Isidro Labrador)

Feast Day: May 15

Patronage: Farmers, peasants, laborers, rural communities, and agriculture, including the Catholic Rural Life organization in the USA.

Life & Significance: A 12th-century Spanish farmworker, he is known for his deep piety, charitable work, and a life dedicated to both prayer and hard work, with legends suggesting angels helped him plow while he attended Mass.
