Back in Bangkok

We stopped in Bangkok for a couple of days to see what we had missed the first time and also to do some admin and shopping. It was successful and we have now the lonely planet for our next destination 🥁🥁
But coming back to Bangkok, we visited Wat. It was quite different from the ones we saw as it has porcelain all over it! We jumped on a river boat to go back to the center and visit Jim Thompson's house. He was an American who fell in love with the Thai and Burma cultures and created a silk company that made Thai silk famous worldwide. His house was quite interesting with a nice art collection and a nice garden.
This time we stayed in a big hotel in Siam neighborhood and managed to get a view with the sunset! We also had a view on the rain and lightening the second night but more difficult to take a picture of it!Read more
