Rounding off our 6th country with a wee visit to busy and bustling Medellín, where I was cajoled into going to a local football game tour. And let me tell you, the fans were absolutely MENTAL. We're talking non-stop chants, hanging off the stands, only holding onto their homemade flags, and jumping on the seats for the whole game. Meanwhile, we literally got dumped at a convenience store for our pre-drinks and drank shots out a carton with 40 other gringos before going along with our face paint 😅

But the highlight for me was visiting Comuna 13, once the world's second most dangerous place with 3.1 murders a day. It's now so colourful and buzzy with music and performers everywhere. A real Latin feel and it definitely sums up the spirit of Medellín.

And that's a wrap on Colombia. Honestly, I loved Cartagena here, but other than that I surprised myself as other countries topped it for me in terms of friendly locals, weather, food, and scenery... even though it was the country I wanted to visit the most!
