TOKYO! Our definitive "first time" trip that started it all. First time planning an itinerary, first time in a foreign country (besides the motherland), first time riding the subway, etc . We compared all our trips to this one. We were wide-eyed and nervous. We came into Tokyo at night and were scared to try anything that was not in English…meaning pretty much everything.
