    ElecTRONica

    December 31, 2010 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 54 °F

The movie Tron came out that year and lucky for us, this was the NYE we decided to go to Disneyland because of one word - elecTRONica!!!!!! Inside California Adventure, they transformed one big area into the world of Tron. Just like in the movie, everything was in cool hues and very futuristic. They even had an exact arcade replica. Most importantly, they had a club/bar area with martini glasses that lights up. Digitinis baby!!! We each had a couple of those and by the time the NYE countdown came (which we did by the pier area where they had another World of Color showing and beautiful fireworks that lit up the sky), we were feeling those digitinis. The fireworks were insanely beautiful! Because we were right by the water, the fireworks felt so close. It was absolutely magical! After that, we made our way back to the Tron club and partied! I never thought we would ever be "clubbing" inside the disney parks. The best part is when we were all dancing and then in the middle of the dance floor, we saw Dany pull out a half eaten turkey leg from his coat pocket and fist pumped with it. Drunk Disney can't be beat!!!!!Read more

World of Color - California Adventure

    December 31, 2010 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 54 °F

World of Color was so beautiful!!! It was our first time seeing it and wow.... The last pic is the party by Sleeping Beauty's castle for the countdown to 2011. Insane right?!?! We headed over to Magic Kingdom after World of Color looking for some alcohol. Hey you can't break into the new year without some of that! We were sent back to California Adventure though because they were the only ones that have alcohol in the park. But first, we munched on some Mickey shaped beignets and the holiday special funnel cake! Yum yum!Read more

    Disneyland

    December 31, 2010 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 54 °F

That last picture was when we came out of the Star Tours ride and the backstage door opened by the ride's exit. Mickey and Minnie came out those doors and we freaked out! Well more like Dany cause he screamed out - "Miiickeeeyy!!!" Lol. Mickey gave him a high-five! It was like seeing the kid inside all of us come out. Oh the magic of Mickey Mouse!Read more

    Disney California Adventure

    December 31, 2010 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 54 °F

One of the firsts in this trip for Byron and I was going inside Off the Page at California Adventures and attending the Animation Academy class. We learned how to draw Piglet! I would show you mine, but my drawing looked more like Piglet's chubby brother.

    Disneyland

    December 31, 2010 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 54 °F

Belle had an itinerary for us in the park so because of her, we were able to go on our favorite rides, watch all the shows we wanted to see, and still party for the NYE countdown!

    Disneyland

    December 31, 2010 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 54 °F

New Year's Eve in Disneyland!!!! The day finally came! We started our Disney adventure early with our first ever breakfast with the characters experience. The Plaza Inn restaurant is inside Disneyland so we were able to watch Dany and Omy's eyes light up as they walked through the park for the very first time! Our breakfast was a buffet of Mickey shaped waffles, bacon, omelettes, and more. We had everything we needed to start our long day.Read more

    Downtown Disney, CA

    December 30, 2010 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 54 °F

It was a little crazy deciding to go on this trip. For Belle, Dany and I, it was fine because we all worked together. For our significant others - Byron, Christian, and Omy, well we didn't know each other all that well. It turned out to be one of our best Disney trips! It was exciting because it was Dany and Omy's first time in Los Angeles and Disneyland. They moved to Las Vegas from New York City just within the past year or so. There's something so special about being in any Disney parks for the first time! After the 4hr drive, we checked in to our Doubletree Anaheim Hotel suite (yay for Doubletree cookies), ate at Portillo's (yes they finally have one in the west coast - best chili dog & italian beef), then we walked around Downtown Disney. I love that Disney keeps their Christmas decorations up until after the new year! Aaaah so excited for Disney day tomorrow!Read more
