NYE 2011 Disneyland

The movie Tron came out that year and lucky for us, this was the NYE we decided to go to Disneyland because of one word - elecTRONica!!!!!! Inside California Adventure, they transformed one big area into the world of Tron. Just like in the movie, everything was in cool hues and very futuristic. They even had an exact arcade replica. Most importantly, they had a club/bar area with martini glasses that lights up. Digitinis baby!!! We each had a couple of those and by the time the NYE countdown came (which we did by the pier area where they had another World of Color showing and beautiful fireworks that lit up the sky), we were feeling those digitinis. The fireworks were insanely beautiful! Because we were right by the water, the fireworks felt so close. It was absolutely magical! After that, we made our way back to the Tron club and partied! I never thought we would ever be "clubbing" inside the disney parks. The best part is when we were all dancing and then in the middle of the dance floor, we saw Dany pull out a half eaten turkey leg from his coat pocket and fist pumped with it.
