Busot ... beautiful

We came here because John had spotted some caves to visit nearby and there's a spot to park. After leaving our canalside stopover, we filled up the tank, (cheaper here at €1.50 (£1.29) for diesel, which currently costs around £1.50 in UK) then drove past fields of oranges and persimmons and then took a motorway for a while. After stopping for a food shop, we ascended on a curvy mountain road, and interesting unexpected landscapes appeared. Including a sea bay at one point. We're a tad north of Alicante.
This village is quite a gem and really well maintained as is the castle. We had an evening walk around the castle and streets. A bit chilly at around 8° but amazing views.Read more
