Harvey 11 North Wales

A fun day, really good costumes and met some lovely people. Amongst them Chris and Andy from Buxton, who'd made a tent decorated with a map and just loved making things and showing them at events.
John's coat was much admired, plus teddy and walking stick and he entered the fashion parade. I was described as "his lovely wife is an extremely accomplished seamstress"
We had admired a fish-themed hat, and I took a photo. Turns out she'd remembered a photo on FB of John's centipede worn at Tenby steampunk in March. She'd admired it and hoped to see us there the next day, but we didn't go. Anyway she was the one who won the fashion parade.
It was a cold day but we had a lovely time and went to the music in the evening. A bit too loud for our liking so we ended up in the bar chatting to a lovely couple Terry and Aidrian.Read more
