Harvey 7 North Cumbria

Looked at a few more properties today. One in a place called Cargo near Carlisle. It was in a hell of a state, an antique dealer lived in it part time when in the country I think. Mess, junk, dirt, old but not in a good way. I managed to see past the state of it this time and thought John would be thinking of all the changes to be made. Instead he knew very quickly that he wasn't interested and said so before we'd even looked upstairs. It didn't have the possibilities John was looking for. I wanted to just check upstairs out but wish I hadn't, you could hardly get through the door and what you saw was grim. The agent kept apologising for the place.
The second one was in Appleby and was much better. Just had time to drop by Kirkby Lonsdale and pick up a prescription on route home. Very wet day!
SO looking forward to the time when we don't have a neighbour's boat as the view. Particularly the painting on Dr Syn next door!Läs mer
