Exercise Tiger Memorial

Here we are again! A trip to South Devon for mum's birthday week, we arrived for about 3pm and popped to the (cloudy but still nice, plus they serve vegan ice cream) beach. It brightened up for a lovely walk to the front to see the memorial for a WW1 training event that went horribly wrong (exercise tiger) which was more fatal than Dday O: (you can Google if youd like to know the depressing details!) On a happier note, we then had 'fish' and chips for dinner by the beach, then saw a seal swimming right along the beach! 🦭🍟😍Leggi altro
