The Giudecca Canal

I missed the boat by a split second at the ACTV dock. I looked at the next dock and there was a viable option. At least I thought it was. It turns out that this vaporetto goes through the Guidecca Canal, not the Grand Canal. This one is wider and more industrial. But I think it's a new one for me. It's taking forever because it is criss-crossing the WIDE canal!.

I'm riding in the back to stay awake...

I made it to the vaporetto stop and walked the 10 minutes to the hotel. The original route was so crowded that I went a different way that took longer. But worth it.En savoir plus
