I got organized at the hotel and packed the car at about 9am. Then, I stopped for gas and ice. Finally, I parked on the main drag to check out the town. All of these stops were within 100 yards of each other!
Being Memorial Day, the VFW hall was preparing for a celebration. It is in an old time theater building. Downstairs, I talked with a woman who said that she would open the museum for me if I wanted to see it. I took a pass but thanked her.
