Avoid the sandwiches at all costs unless you are absolutely sure they are fresh. Very soggy and the wrap is sticky?!?! Ew.

Some next day pics of first class food. The first is basically cream cheese and onions on bread. It was okay. Not terrible. The second is steak with potatoes, mushrooms, and green beans. The steak and mushrooms were good but the potatoes, or mash, and the green beans were not very good at all. Anyway as of now we have about 20 minutes to landing in hethro and then I wait 6 hours in the lounge then board the plane to Barcelona for another 2 hour flight. More updates to come.Read more

Heathrow airport first class lounge

So we got to the lounge after several wrong turns and some workers who were misinformed. Let's just say it was very fast paced. But we are here now and that's all that matters right? I look pretty much dead from the 7 and a half hour flight here, but it was really cool and fun. We even had to get off of the plane via steps onto the pavement then onto buses to the terminals. The buses were hot and I felt really sick on them...I would rather walk in the cold 60 degree weather XD. The lounge is really empty and quiet exept for these two people sitting next to us who chew chips VERY loudly, but they are moving now so that is good. Some people say half of the trip is the journey...maybe they are right.Read more

Oh my God! Actual crushed ice in Europe! This is really cool because in Europe you usually only get 1 or 2 huge ice cubes. We made friends with the Bar tender and talked to him for a while. We told him about the ice back home and I later asked for a NesTea. He came back with a cup of crushed ice...that is the second nice person I've met today. The first was the photographer who was absolutely amazing and nice even to me...the reason I was surprised was because I was so grumpy after walking for hours...she even had lunch with us and helped us translate.Read more

Resting after 4 hours of walking! Sooo tired. In need of Siesta...XD. about to go to a park too. We will sleep well tonight. Also just learned we walked 6.2 miles (17,475 steps) wow!

Back at the apartment after having fun at a cooking class and going to the market...CANDY HAUL!!! I didn't get a lot but it is really good so far.
