"Crocodile Bridge" is just up the road from the entrance to Carara National Park.
Big guys catching some rays. The first of what I'm sure will be many iguana sightings!Carara is not a big park, but we saw more than we were expecting to on the almost 3 mile trail. We became instant borders and wildlife spotters.Success! Our one and only monkey sighting, a Howler.Love these buttressed trees. The leaf cutter ants are so cool to watch at work. Such determination! The couple hiking ahead of us pointed out this casual coati grazing the forest floor.1🍃 🍃 🍃An orange cup fungus!More fascinating fungi of Carara NP.2This little bird landed very close to us and posed beautifully. We learned that is a Trogon, a relative of the Quetzal!I am a wild cashew.1We heard this toucan for many minutes before Aaron found it with the binoculars!
