San Sebastián

Stage 1 complete!! What an amazing first day! The temperature couldn’t have been better for hiking; the clouds kept it cool the entire way. The ascent up the Purgatorio route was difficult but so worth it. The views were spectacular! Very little road walking which made it ideal for me. The highlight of the day was seeing San Sebastián from Mount Ulia. I’ve seen that same picture from blogs but to now have witnessed it myself was so fulfilling.
