Rothenburg de Tauber

Welcome to the beautiful Bavarian streets of Rothenburg de Tauber. This town is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. This historic town is surrounded on all sides by gates and a wall to match its historic look.

Everywhere we turned today it was clear that one thing was in the air: Christmas. Every shop was filled with beautifully crafted toys and gifts of every variety. It was stunning.

Today we tried two new delights. Jake got a .6 meter sausage with a fresh baked roll. It was delicious. Julie got spaetzle covered with melted cheese and fried onions. Both of us agreed it was one of the best dishes we have had so far.Read more
