Assisi!

We arrived in Assisi on All Saints Day...who knew? A very crowded medieval city. San Francesco (St.Francis) and Santa Chiara (St. Clare) are my 2 favorite saints. Clare was the founder of the Poor Clares and has a cathedral. Francis founded the Franciscan order of monks, and he got a Basilica. The difference is a Basilica is affiliated with the Pope in Rome. I got very claustrophobic on our tour. I saw both of their tombs and said a few prayers for our country and my friends and family.Okumaya devam et
