When life gives you lemons go to Turkey!

Well, my trip has hit a glitch, but I am rolling with it. I got to the airport almost 3 hrs early and missed my flight. I read the screen wrong, waited at the wrong gate for 2 hours and did not hear my name being called. I will NEVER bitch about loud announcements in airports again! I remembered my sis Shel's advice to take a deep breath when stressed because there is always a way to fix a problem. So, after trying to rebook with British Air...(20,000 euros for a flight) 😳 good ole Google flights took me to Turkish Air. For (Only!) 500 euros I am going to Istanbul tonight and OHare tomorrow and will STILL make my Decatur flight! So, bright side...another new country and continent for me! And can I say it?
