Ancient olive trunk. We also saw a 1500 year old olive tree that still bears fruit, but my photo of it wasn't great. Mary Magdalene is believed to have planted it.

A farmer bringing his olive harvest to the mill for processing.

Every farmer piles their bags of olives in the parking lot, labeled with their name. They get a call when the oil is being pressed, and come back to pick up 90% of the resulting oil. The mill takes 10% of the oil as payment. No money changes hands at all.

Damn, the ship's leaving without us. Just kidding. But the ride to and from the ship via the tender boat was an adventure in itself. I got a taste of sea water. Salty.
