• Day 3 - Sedona

    26 ноября, Соединенные Штаты ⋅ ☀️ 55 °F

While we arrived in the dark, our first full day in Sedona was all clear skies and perfect weather. First stop was knocking out some climbing at a spot called Stupa Crag at Chimney Rock. As we drove through Sedona to the crag, Everett was gobsmacked by his new surroundings, commenting, "I know Chattanooga is called the Scenic City, but that should be what they call this place." He wasn't wrong.

Kyle and his youngest, Wesley, joined us for the morning outing. Wes recently began bouldering and this was his first time climbing on ropes. He knocked it out of the park and seemed to really enjoy the opportunity to get onto the ropes and up high.

After the guys knocked out some routes, we grabbed Domino's and ate lunch at a local park. Kyle brought his bocce ball set and Holden schooled all of us with his newly discovered bocce ball skills. We decided that Sedona gifted Holden with his bocce ball prowess after he got knocked on the head from a loose rock while climbing earlier. Three cheers for helmets!

After Holden destroyed us in bocce ball, we headed back to the Airbnb to rest and recoup for a bit. We ended the evening with dinner at Katie & Kyle's. Kyle took us on a tour of the school where Katie works (they live on the campus). The views everywhere are spectacular. We finished the evening talking with Katie & Kyle by the fire on their back patio while all the boys played video games.

    Tomorrow: Thanksgiving!
