Tonawanda Day 3, Weather Day 4

This is our fourth weather day waiting for Lake Erie to calm down. That ties our 4-day wait at Marathon a few years ago waiting for winds to calm. Tomorrow we hope to Escape From New York. Eileen trudged over to the coin laundry and we dropped the truck off at the storage lot. Well, guess what? The truck AC blower spun right up, and did so for 20 starts over 2 days. So we cancelled the Ford service appointment and hope for the best when we’re ready to pick it up from the storage lot here. r

We walked some of the Empire trail for two hours, about half of that along the Erie Canal, at exactly eight weeks after my hip replacement…doing well! We’re having a Heat Advisory here. We love the baby Canada geese, especially sauteed in butter and garlic with shallots and a few Portobello mushrooms. Only a few boats on the wall today.Læs mere
