    The heat advisory continues. Eileen hiked 1.5 miles to the nearest coin laundry according to Google Maps, but found only an unmarked boarded up empty building. She wasn’t in a good mood after that and took an Uber back to the marina.

    We walked around the city enjoying the sights and visited the International Women' s Air and Space Museum, which was free and air conditioned. After a lemon ice cream break, we toured the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It was well done and impressive, but at $45 each it should be.

    A city pier abuts the marina. A pedestrian bridge across the marina entrance has an air clearance of three feet. It provides an alternate route to the pier, and we found it strange that it is staffed 24/7. Some RR bridges require eight hours notice to open. We’re having a great time and enjoying the trip!
