TravelerJust before going under that last bridge, before the “canal” on the left side was a small marina that is part of Snug Harbor Inn. My late wife and I stayed there a few times at the Inn, which was very nice. But I point it out for the fact that strong winds can impact that little bay. It has lost or gained three feet of water due to wind effect on Lake Michigan during strong storms! Easterly winds will push water into the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal while westerlies push it the other way.
