Sandy Hook NJ to Halfmoon Bay NY, Hudson R SM 36

The forecasted front was slower coming through, so we got a lot of salt geysers slammed on the windshield and a stressful but safe cruise up a snotty Hudson River with 1 to 2 foot white capping chop on the beam. The shores are less developed than we had imagined and very scenic among the surrounding hills. We've previously spent two weeks exploring NYC so didn't need that.Read more
