To snag a free lock wall mooring (with a Canada Parks pass) you pretty much need to be there by noon or 2pm to have a good chance, plus contact the lock by phone to see if there are any. This remote lock was full on the downside with two open on the up side; no utilities. We made good use of the inverter to run anything but the rooftop AC. It gets cool at sundown and upper 50's in at sunrise. Both the wooden lock and wood one-way swing bridge are hand cranked.
