15.12 Day 90 . . . Settling Back In

And we are officially back . . . and a fab nights sleep was had by both of us. After the last few days back in the UK and quite a bit of running around we opted for a very lazy lay in.
Once up the remainder of the morning consisted of masses of admin and unpacking bags and dirty washing - very exciting.
The main part of the admin was liaising with the estate agents and the Notaire re the house a Chenay. We dare to breath that this might actually be the house we go for, but both of us trying not to get too excited. We also did a little bit more research of the area . . . and identified the Mairie, so we know who to drop a bottle into when the time is right 😎
On a positive note we finally received the much acclaimed 846A document from the Douane which means that Roxvanne is finally all paid up and officially imported as far as the French Taxman (Douane) is concerned.
Following one of our driven trips back to the UK and passing through Calais and the dunes along the coast, Tre was keen to learn more about the history of the Second World War. We had as a result got the entire DVD version of the World At War in an attempt to better out education. It was also to pass some evenings when we had run out of things to talk about 😂😂 - Joke!!
So we decided to break the DVD set out in the afternoon and took in the first episode. Well we had nothing planned, nowhere we had to be and no-one we had to see . . . for once!
Afternoon drifted into evening and we retired to watch a Netflix download - we had downloaded in the UK as can’t download here. Reminder that I need to sort a VPN account.
So not much of a day - just a slow acclimatation to being back.Read more
