Homeward Bound

We woke quite late for us in Rox and decided not have breakfast, but to get a wiggle on a grab something on route.
We headed generally north west firstly on the D47 onto the D45 and then onto the D710 which took us up and into Périgueux. We stopped on route at a boulangerie where we sat and coffee, hot chocolate, Teresa’s normal pain au raisin and I had a cheese and lardon filled small baked baguette - the healthy option.
Having skirted the north side of Périgueux we joined the D939 and headed initially north and then north east through to Angoulême (our not so favourite place now after the garage night). Once through Angoulême we joined our normal N10 north before our normal exit to take us back to Sauze Vaussais.
Through to home and dumping Rox, we hopped in the car to go and collect the mutts.
An hour later we were back at home, unloading the van, mutts running wild back in their garden, dinner and chill with the TV.
Another trip done and dusted.
