Quinceañera

An important part of the Mexican culture celebrating 15th birthdays with a really big party. I was lucky enough to be invited to the one of Argelia's cousin in San Luis. It was crazy, I felt like at a wedding: the family had rented a spot in Tengamanga park, the guests were assigned to their tables, a live orchestra played, there were stilt walkers, a caricaturist, loads of food and sweets and a magician. Everyone wore there finest dresses, many - including us - had their hair and make-up done professionally. For a foreigner this really is a once in a lifetime experience.Read more
