Por los callejones de Guanajuato

Arriving in Guanajuato last night, some people were about to go to the cinema, so I joined them. It may have to do with the fact that the movie ("Aquarius") was really weird, or just be because I hadn't really had a chance to actually “arrive“, but on our way back to the hostel being back in this beautiful town seemed totally surreal. I walked by the nicely illuminated churches and through the crooked streets and just couldn't get rid of the feeling that they were just paintings.
Today I just took a long walk through the tiny callejones (= alleys) with another German girl. We found the university and it's art exhibition and had a great workout walking up the steep hills.Read more
