Lipno Devils Extreme Race

A weekend trip to the extreme kayak race held every year at the Vlatava river (dt: Moldau), this year also constituting the European championship. We did a bit of paddling as well, but only on the easier II-III section that preceeds the actual race course, with it's cruxes at the Window (III+), Devil's stairs (IV) and Bloody hand (IV+).
The race was accompanied by a dirtbag kayak festival: no shower, only mobile toilets, but great music (and of course loads of beer for those interested).Read more
