Sacsayhuaman

On Friday I climbed all the steps in Cusco to get to the Sacsayhuaman Inca ruins above the city and made a couple new friends along the way. Sacsayhuaman was an important military post, as it has panoramic views of the city. The stonework is very impressive: they cut each stone precisely so it would fit with the adjacent stones, and somehow transported these slabs (some 20 ft tall) to the top of the mountain.
