Salkantay Trek: Day 4

Our final day of trekking; we hiked from Hidroeléctrica to Aguas Calientes, about 3 hours along the railroad tracks.

Aguas Calientes is actually an enjoyable town, despite existing solely for tourism. Between the river rapids flowing through town, the large tourist market, and a number of nice cafes, it was a nice place to relax. (Also, the hot shower in my hotel room seemed luxurious.)Leer más
